Description: Bike Classes/TypeClass one - fully-seperated facility (most commonly a trail)Class two, standard - Standard class two bike laneClass two, enhnaced - Bike lane with extra features, such as a buffer, delineators, and/or green paintClass three, signed - Signed bike route with no other special pavement markingsClass three, sharrowed - Bike route with shared lane markings, aka sharrows*As of July 2013, all segments are updated with the exception of Class III, signedTable ColumnsYr_Installed - These years are based on work plans, council resolutions, and other documents and best reflect when bike facilities were installed. Infomration for older facilities (such as the 1970s) is limited and therefore these are the best approximations. Information was not available for all bikeways, resulting in some <null> values.YrEnhanced - The year an existing bikeway was enhanced, for example, the paving of an existing unpaved trail or the painting of a standard bike lane green.BP_2020 - This column is the segment's status as defined in Bike Plan 2020, shown in the document located at http://sanjoseca.gov/DocumentCenter/View/245. Primary Bikeways reflect the planned primary bikeway network; Basic Bikeways are all other bikeway corridors that are defined in Bike Plan 2020. Existing bikeways that are not listed in Bike Plan 2020 are included in this column as "not included in Bike Plan 2020."Status - This column shows the status of each segment as either planned or complete. (All Class I bikeways that are planned are approximations of where the actual trail/class I facility will be built and should be re-drawn in GIS to match the completed segment after it is built. This is not the case with class II and class III bikeways.)
