Service Description: The Emerge map is used by DOT to track emergency calls during storms regarding trees down across roadways, flooded roadways and underpasses, and landslides across roads. Calls are processed every 5 minutes and sorted into categories. Storm Hotspots are areas known to have flood and landslide events during storms. Storm Hotspots are tracked to monitor the number of calls that originate in the hotspot zone. DOT vehicles that enter emergency zones or hotspot zones are tracked and logged in related tables.
